K-Youth Media is a non-profit making organization founded in 2011. The main goal is to equip young people from the informal settlements in Nairobi,Kenya with skills on media for their personal and community development.

 

Its establishment was informed by the ambitious youth who had strong interest in media but lacked finances to pursue the profession. Media training has been out of reach for many young people from Nairobi’s informal settlements.

 

K Youth Media offers training for young people with an aim of contributing to their economic and social development. To date over 200 young people have been trained at the organization.

 

K-Youth Media has five Board of Directors :
